Our story starts as a student project called MyBeeLine that quickly became a startup in 2015 and marked the first chapter in not that long, but dynamic, Async Labs history. With a couple of student colleagues, Async’s co-founder Alen created an innovative app in collaboration with beekeepers. The project focused on the modernization of beekeeping, both locally and globally and raised awareness about bees and the problems they face. Our CEO Luka joined the project in 2016 with the goal of optimizing MyBeeLine’s software based on users’ feedback.

So for quite some time, people thought we were basically beekeepers.

But what the hack, we helped both bees and beekeepers and created an amazing and unexpected baseline for Async Labs’ future.
